About me

Isabel Rosemblatt Bono was born in Chile in 1984. She received a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of the Arts, Science and Communications (UNIACC) in 2007 in Chile. In 2008 she received a prestigious Presidential Scholarship from the Chilean government to pursue an MFA in Photography, Video & Related Media at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York. She has shown her work individually at the Project Room Gallery in 2008 in Chile and at the Consulate General of Chile in New York in 2010. She has also shown her work in several group shows in Chile such as the art video exhibition “Video Arte Parrilla” in 2005 at Matucana 100 Cultural Center, “Chilechannel” at the Concrete Gallery in 2007, the 8th Biennale of Video and New Medias of Santiago at the Contemporary Art Museum in 2007, the Biennale of Performance at the Contemporary Art Museum in 2008 and Ch.Aco art fair in 2010 among others. She has also shown her work at the Visual Arts Theatre in New York in 2010 and the One-Minute Film Festival in New York in 2010. She has been awarded a Fund for Audiovisual projects FONDART, from the Chilean National Council for the Arts in 2007, a distinction for Academic Excellence from UNIACC University, the National Scholarship Program for Graduate Studies from the Chilean Government in 2008, the Alice Beck-Odette Scholarship from the School of Visual Arts, NY and the 3rd prize from the Matilde Perez contest for Arts and Digital Technologies in 2011.

 

I’m currently a Partner and Director at Dinogorila Creative Lab, where we create animations a TV shows for children.
